Amazon.com plans Sussex warehouse, creating 364 jobs


Amazon.com is looking to grow its footprint in southeast Wisconsin further by leasing a 114,000-square-foot warehouse in Sussex.

The online retailer would use the existing Sussex building as a delivery center operating 24 hours a day, according to a plan filed with the village for review. It would lease that building on Corporate Circle from its New York City owner.

Amazon.com would create 364 jobs in two shifts in the building.
