American Financial Group Inc. shareholders will receive a huge dividend payment this Friday. But that won’t necessarily be the end of the company’s big special payments to investors.
That payment of $1.50 per share won’t preclude the company from paying another special dividend later this year, Carl Lindner III and Craig Lindner, co-CEOs of downtown Cincinnati-based property and casualty insurer American Financial (NYSE: AFG), said at the company’s annual shareholders meeting Tuesday.
