Another Maui food establishment closed following DOH inspection


Paradise Supermart Fast Food & Catering on Maui closed earlier this week after a Department of Health inspection revealed a rodent infestation. DOH has issued a red “closed” placard to the Kahului business.

The inspection was conducted Tuesday following an anonymous tip. In a release issued Wednesday, DOH said that during the inspection, it found that “nearly all shelves in the market had some trace of dark-colored rat droppings, indicating recent activity.” Rat droppings also were found…
