Arcadia shares rise with FDA approval of nutrition product for cats


Shares of Davis-based Arcadia Biosciences Inc. rose 13 percent on news that its safflower nutritional supplement for cats has been granted approval from the Food and Drug Administration.

Arcadia’s (Nasdaq: RKDA) shares rose 91 cents to $7.90 on Friday, when the company announced the approval.
