Arizona Diamondbacks, Maricopa County reach deal in Chase Field fight

The war between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Marciopa County over Chase Field has reached an armistice.

The county and D-backs have reached a tentative deal to resolve their legal fight over who is responsible for $185 million in repairs at the downtown ballpark. The deal gives D-backs control over the ballpark, as well as the ability to look at other stadium options. But the team also has to cover repair and renovation costs.

Maricopa County will hold a public meeting on the proposal on Monday.
