Precinct Pizza, a New York City police-themed pizzeria in the former Channelside Bay Plaza, has closed as the long-awaited redevelopment of its real estate begins.
The restaurant announced its closure on Facebook on Sunday, saying its lease was not renewed. A massive overhaul of Channelside Bay Plaza — transforming it into Sparkman Wharf, a place with a waterfront dining garden, craft biergarten and recreational lawn — was announced in late July.
