AT&T agrees to sell Broadway Street property to UIW


AT&T Inc. has accepted the University of the Incarnate Word's bid to buy the company's Broadway Street property, which is immediately south of the school's campus and includes a multistory office building and parking structure.

University officials did not disclose details of the agreement, which must be approved by UIW's trustees next month.

UIW President Thomas Evans told the Business Journal during a recent interview that the university has ideas for the property.
