Austin Chamber mum on whether Amazon’s HQ2 team made second visit


Has Austin been passed over by Amazon.com Inc. executives late in their search for a second headquarters?

That's what we wondered when we read this Oct. 19 story by the Wall Street Journal. It mentioned that execs had made return trips "over the past couple of months" to New York City, Chicago and Newark, N.J., in addition to contacting officials in Miami and the Washington, D.C. area.
