Portland nurse gets four years in prison for distributing opioids
A former Portland nurse practitioner will spend four years in prison for illegally distributing opioids.
Julie Ann DeMille, 60, will further face three years’ if supervised release for illegally distributing prescription opioids, filing a false tax return and lying to federal agents.

Kelsey-Seybold to open clinic location in Houston’s downtown tunnels
Houston-based Kelsey-Seybold Clinic plans to open a new clinic location in the downtown tunnels this summer.
Kelsey-Seybold will start construction on a 2,200-square-foot clinic beneath the Niels and Millie Esperson Buildings. The clinic will be located at 815 Walker, suite T-14A, according to a press release from Kelsey-Seybold. Construction has not yet started on the new location, but it is scheduled to open in the summer of 2019, according to a Kelsey-Seybold spokesperson.

Washington University gets $15M from Scottrade founder
The Washington University School of Medicine has received a $15 million gift from Paula and Rodger Riney to accelerate research and develop new treatments for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.
Rodger Riney founded Scottrade Financial Services, which was acquired in 2017 by TD Ameritrade in a $4 billion deal.
About $10 million of the gift will support Alzheimer's disease research, while the remaining $5 million will support Parkinson's disease research, officials said Tuesday.

San Antonio-based North American Development Bank, or NADBank, had its overall credit rating of Aa for long-term bonds affirmed last week.
Fitch Ratings Inc. affirmed the bank's credit worthiness and described the investment for the bond market at-large as stable.
