Lake George's marina industry is heating up after a string of investments over the past two years in motels, restaurants and $1 million-plus home sales on the lake.

Two hundred sixty more low-income communities in Georgia have been designed as federal opportunity zones, in which businesses can receive income tax credits for creating jobs.
