Home buyers still confronted by a challenging market
The prime time to buy and sell a home is near yet the process remains fraught with low inventory and rising prices.
There was a 22.6 percent drop in single-family housing sales in the Buffalo market in March — down to 625 closed transactions compared to 807 in 2017. That was impacted by a 16.3 percent decline in available homes — 2,407 from 2,875 in the year-over-year period. New listings fell 13.1 percent to 1,285 from 1,478.

McMillan opponents appeal again after D.C. order grants permission to move forward
