Birmingham senior housing company breaks ground on upscale Georgia project


A Birmingham senior housing company has broken ground on its newest community in Columbus, Georgia.

Atlas Senior Living said the new development, Legacy Reserve Old Town, will be upscale and spirited and include independent living, assisted living and memory care. It will be located in the Old Town area at 8995 Frank Houser Ave.

Construction began in September, and May 2020 is the planned opening date.
