Breach may have exposed personal data for Providence Health Plan dental customers


The administrator of Providence Health Plan’s dental program in Oregon has informed about 122,000 customers of a data breach where an unauthorized third party may have gained access to personal information.

The breach, first reported by The Oregonian, was reported by Dominion National in Virginia. According to a notice on Dominion’s website, the company in April learned through an investigation of an internal alert that an unauthorized third party may have accessed some of its computer servers…
