Brentwood-based public company strikes $1.2B deal to add pet food brands to its portfolio


The Brentwood-based consumer packaged goods holding company – known for food brands such as Honey Bunches of Oats cereal and Peter Pan peanut butter – is entering the pet food market with plans to buy pet food brands including Rachael Ray Nutrish and Gravy Train from J.M. Smucker Co.
