Buyer of bishop’s home sells another Oakland Place residence


Eric Stenclik has sold his historically-acclaimed former Oakland Place residence one day after he and his partner, Steven Dietz, bought the residence long held by the Diocese of Buffalo that sits just across Oakland Place.

Stenclik and his father, Richard, sold the Horace Reed house at 94 Oakland Place to Christopher Kay, a recently recruited M&T Bank executive and his wife, Julie. The Kays paid $1.3 million for the Reed house, according to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk’s office.
