The brewers at Great Notion Brewing were fired up in early April when they started producing their first batches out of their expanded brewing location in Northwest Portland.
But Uncle Sam is apparently not as excited about the new location, especially since it has, according to Great Notion, a "missing wall" on Northwest 28th Avenue. As a result, the federal Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau has put the temporary kibosh on Great Notion's Northwest operations.
