Cafe Express closes locations in Dallas, Houston, Austin


Cafe Express, a fast-casual chain co-founded by Houston’s chef Robert Del Grande in 1984, has closed longtime locations in Houston and Dallas and its only one in Austin.

In Houston, the company closed its Briargrove location at Woodway and Voss, according to CultureMap. The Dallas location that closed was in Mockingbird Station, where the restaurant had operated for nearly 20 years, per CultureMap.
