Call for action raises $2.3M to fight youth homelessness


A call to help homeless youth in Central Ohio did not go unheeded.

The Columbus Foundation announced this week that its "critical need alert" for $1.5 million was met and then some. The organization said that it raised more than $2.3 million in 44 days since it made the plea for funding for the Our Kids initiative to help provide education and housing to at-risk youths in the community.
