Capital Bank kick-starts foundation with $250K in grants


When Memphis, Tennessee-based First Horizon National Corp. acquired Capital Bank last year, its financial services expanded into new Southeastern markets — and now, so have its good deeds.

The First Horizon Foundation announced last week, in celebration of its 25-year anniversary, the launch of the Capital Bank Foundation. To kick things off, the foundation is giving away a total of $250,000 in grants to the winning nonprofits of its 25 Years of Giving video contest.
