Chicago’s BrewBike rides into Austin
University of Texas at Austin students are now being peddled cold brew by a pedaling salesperson on campus.
BrewBike, a Chicago startup launched out of Northwestern University that is best known for selling cold brew coffee from custom cargo bikes, has chosen Austin as its second market. The hope is that the climate will be more bike-friendly, and ice coffee-friendly, than Chicago’s harsh winter weather.

An entertainment district and outdoor drinking area are among the proposals the Springfield City Commission is weighing to bolster downtown growth.
A public hearing followed by a vote among commissioners will be held regarding the establishment of a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) and a Community Entertainment District in downtown Springfield.
