Activist investor William Ackman revealed Tuesday that his Pershing Square Capital Management now has a 1.1 percent stake in Starbucks Corp.

The New York-based hedge fund’s stake is worth about $900 million, which was built over the past few months, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) shares were up 3.3 percent to $58.41 after the reveal before settling near $58.02.

Cincinnati employment attorneys say a former server who recorded the owner of Terry's Turf Club uttering a disparaging sexual remark after firing her could have a cause for legal action.

Evelyn Marie Reid on Oct. 7 posted a video on Facebook showing Terry's Turf Club owner Terry Carter making a sexual remark while she records him. She had asked him why she was being fired from her job as a server at the longtime Linwood restaurant, where she had worked since January.
