Health inspectors ordered 10 restaurants in the tri-county area to close last week for failed inspections, according to a report released this week by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation:

In its inaugural year, the N.C. Folk Festival brought about 150,000 people to downtown Greensboro, festival organizers have announced.

The festival, a free outdoor celebration of cultural roots and heritage that took place Sept. 7 to 9, came about after Greensboro hosted the National Folk Festival from 2015 to 2017. When the national festival rotated away from Greensboro after its three-year run, local organizers decided to continue the tradition by starting the N.C. Folk Festival.

Greater Cincinnati's craft brewing community has grown to 48 craft breweries in the region, up from 23 in 2016.

New Jersey officials suspended a ruling introduced in September that put more limitations on what state microbreweries could and could not do, citing the need for additional studies and conversations about its impact on the Garden State's 88 beermakers.

Local Philadelphia-born restaurant companies will join the long-awaited Cherry Street Pier development along the Delaware River Waterfront.

Cherry Street Pier, the $5 million renovation of the century-old Municipal Pier 9 into a mixed-used public space, will open on Oct. 12 after more than a year in the making.
