La Belle Vie space to be revived by former chef
Local restaurant group Jester Concepts and its culinary director Mike DeCamp are opening a new restaurant in the former space of fine-dining haven La Belle Vie, where DeCamp cooked for years.
The group plans to open a meat-centric concept in the 510 Groveland Ave. space, Jester announced Thursday. The group plans to add in a second bar to the dining room and make minor updates to the lounge, with Jester's bar director Jesse Held heading the cocktail program.

Milkjam Creamery will move into Dave’s Popcorn site
Saed and Sameh Wadi, the owners of World Street Kitchen and Milkjam Creamery, will open a second location of their popular ice cream parlor at the site of the south Minneapolis fixture Dave's Popcorn.
Milkjam announced the move Wednesday on Facebook, saying it planned to offer a menu of WSK-inspired hot dogs and (of course) ice cream.

Maple Street closes its Latin-inspired restaurant concepts
B Street Eats, the second concept launched by Maple Street Biscuit Company owners Scott Moore and Gus Evans, has permanently closed.
Originally launched in 2016 in St. Augustine, the concept served Latin-inspired lunch and dinner items such as pulled pork sandwiches and tostones. The original store was at a two-story building behind Maple Street's store in St. Augustine at 41 Cordova Street. A second B Street Eats location opened in spring 2017 at 1173 Edgewood Ave. in Murray Hill.
