Barbecue restaurant Brother Jimmy's previously occupied the space Scores Sport will be moving into.

The well-loved burger chain has announced plans to expand operations to Tennessee in the coming years, with a planned corporate office in and multiple restaurants throughout the region.

H-E-B already owns the land and has been granted a 30-day extension by Frisco’s planning and zoning staff to submit its preliminary plans for a new store at the southwest corner of US 380 and FM 423, which borders Little Elm.

A local beverage company has its sights set on growth as it raises capital through a crowdfunding campaign.

Elixir Kombucha, owned by Corey and Danielle Wood, has raised more than $240,000 on Wefunder, a crowdfunding platform that connects startups with investors online. The company, founded in 2016, creates its own kombucha product, selling it in stores across Kentucky and in some surrounding states.
