TSMC delays Arizona chip factory production, citing skilled labor shortage
TSMC is pushing production at its Arizona fab now under construction in north Phoenix ahead by a year, citing a shortage of skilled labor, the company said in its quarterly earnings call. The world's biggest supplier of chips for Apple's iPhones also reported much slower revenue growth during Q2 due to a global slump in demand for electronic devices.
