As part of local efforts to boost homeownership rates, two Milwaukee nonprofits recently completed renovations on four homes that will be maintained as affordable housing in perpetuity.

More apartments are coming to the Dayton region with a new development. When the development is completed, it will bring 130 single-story apartments to potential residents in a growing municipality in the region.

The city of Scottsdale is taking another big step towards conserving more water for the city's future.

Scottsdale City Council has approved an ordinance prohibiting natural grass in front yards of new homes.

The new ordinance will apply to homes constructed or permitted after August 15.

The ordinance was widely supported.

It was passed by the Council unanimously, and a recent survey of Scottsdale Water customers showed that 86% of those polled support the measure.

“It wouldn't work as an office conversion, so it's under LOI,” the lender's CEO said on an earnings call. “We'll see if we can get rid of it.”

The company is one of the earliest developers who helped transform the area into a popular spot for dining, retail, apartments and office.
