The Avs themselves were also pretty new to town. The team moved from Quebec to the Mile High City in 1995. In 2021, the Pepsi Center was renamed Ball Arena, coincidentally 21 years after it was built.

Aloekui, the Milwaukee-based small business which is run by owner Rita Estremera, is taking up a new residence, opting to move from its current location in St. Ann’s Center for Intergenerational Care to a future home at 1229 S. Cesar E. Chavez Drive.
