MLG moving Mount Pleasant warehouse forward
Brookfield real estate firm MLG Capital is still working towards construction of a large distribution center that would fill out nearly all remaining land in its Mount Pleasant business park.
The project first surfaced in January when MLG applied for state approvals to fill 2.8 acres of wetlands in the business park for a new warehouse it called by the code name “R.C. Distribution.” At the time, it predicted about 250 people could work in the Racine County building.

Gov. Ducey may consider more regulations on Arizona short-term rentals
Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey may push for more regulations on short-term rentals, prompted by cities that say a law he signed earlier this year didn't do enough.
