Severyn Development Inc. is using a cluster of properties in and around the Oxford Avenue triangle neighborhood in Buffalo to construct new residential housing.

The duplexes will be spread over different lots on Harvard Place, Oxford Avenue and Lafayette Avenue and will mirror similar six that Severyn built in the suburb of Lancaster. In each instance, the duplexes are occupied under a lease with future purchase option.

New York real estate brokerage firm Douglas Elliman announced Aug. 20 that it will make its first foray into Texas through a joint venture with Houston-based real estate sales and marketing firm Sudhoff Cos.

Homelessness has become a huge issue in the Portland metro region in recent years.

A new study from Portland State University found that more than 38,000 people experienced homelessness in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties in 2017.
