Ogden & Co. Inc. could develop 76 apartments in a five-story building along North Water Street on Milwaukee’s lower east side and will hold a neighborhood meeting this month to get feedback on the plan.

The new apartments are planned on land Ogden assembled over the past several years at North Water and North Jackson streets. Since the recession, that neighborhood has been Milwaukee’s hottest zone for new apartment construction, including two projects Ogden has completed in recent years.
