Amazon.com Inc. has selected a contracting team to work on the first portion of its $1.5 billion Air cargo hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
Star Metals in West Midtown lands $100 million construction loan
A 14-story office building in West Midtown first unveiled three years ago has landed a $100 million construction loan.
Barings Real Estate and Bank of the Ozarks Inc. provided the financing for the project, Star Metals Offices.
Developer The Allen Morris Co. last year inked co-working provider Spaces to a 56,121-square-foot lease to help anchor the building. Spaces will occupy the 7th and 8th floors, or about 20 percent of the project.

Ramsey County may take Arden Hills to court over Rice Creek Commons project
Unable to reach a compromise with Arden Hills officials on the direction of the project, the Ramsey County Board voted Tuesday to authorize legal action that would advance the project, a redevelopment of the former Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant site. In dispute are the density of development on the 427-acre property, the amount and type of affordable housing that will be included, and how the city and county will divide the cost of the project.

Buffalo has the oldest housing stock of any major city in America, according to new statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau.
Nearly two-thirds of the housing units within the City of Buffalo — 64.1 percent — were built prior to 1940. That's almost eight percentage points higher than the figure for any other U.S. city with a population greater than 250,000.
