Kings Island adds housing to recruit out-of-town employees
Kings Island’s latest construction project doesn’t involve a roller coaster or another new ride.
The 364-acre Mason theme park is constructing a new housing facility on the northwest edge of its campus near Great Wolf Lodge. The 37,000-square-foot complex will provide an affordable living option for workers who are at least 18 years old and live more than 25 miles from the site.

Foxconn buys second downtown Racine building
Foxconn Technology Group acquired its second office building in downtown Racine last week where the manufacturer could create a co-working space for its smart city efforts.
The office building at 1 Main St. sold for $6.25 million, according to state records. Foxconn had announced the planned acquisition in October, saying the building would become “Foxconn Place Racine” and would house at least 125 company employees.

Chancellor throws out Sheraton lawsuit against City of Memphis
Shelby County Chancellor JoeDae Jenkins dismissed the Downtown Sheraton's lawsuit against the City of Memphis and Memphis City Council Monday.
Jenkins said the action the council took in authorizing Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland's administration to incentivize the proposed Loews Hotel, a competitor to the Sheraton, was proper and was done on a rational basis.
The Sheraton's attorneys told reporters afterward they plan to exercise their right to appeal. They also have a suit pending in Davidson County…
