There’s a new head of the household at Kansas City’s largest residential real estate firm.
Mike Frazier is the new CEO of ReeceNichols Real Estate, the company announced Tuesday. Frazier has moved steadily up the ranks for the company, joining in 2007 as CFO and COO, and being named as president in January.
Linda Vaughan, who has been CEO of ReeceNichols since 2013, will serve as chairman emeritus through the end of the year, according to a release.

Ellicott City Main Street to reopen Friday after second flooding in two years
Nearly two months after deadly flooding wiped out businesses and homes and killed one person in Old Ellicott City, the historic Main Street will be reopened to cars and pedestrians Friday.
Howard County officials said that construction and the clean up are still largely ongoing in the area, and a few streets remain closed. But some businesses have reopened, and in an effort to balance the needs of business owners, County Executive Allan H. Kittleman said it is time to reopen the entire street.

San Antonio home sales, prices continue to rise in June
The San Antonio housing market continued to show strong fundamentals in June, with average and median home prices increasing since May and more than 3,300 home sales.
With 3,323 homes sold in June 2018, year-over-year sales increased by 3 percent, according to the latest Multiple Listing Service report from the San Antonio Board of Realtors.
