It typically costs around $300,000 to build a backyard cottage in Seattle, but the city plans to cut costs and time by hiring architects to come up with standardized, pre-approved designs.

The Railyards/Richards Boulevard corridor is home to Sacramento Valley Station, a transportation hub that dates back to 1926.

With 150 to 175 new homes being built a year in Huber Heights, City Manager Rob Schommer says he’s confident in the strength of the local housing market.

The largest of these developments has been Carriage Trails, a long-term, large-scale housing project akin to the continually-growing Settler’s Walk in Springboro. New add-on phases are incrementally growing it by another hundred or so houses a year.
