Former Homewood restaurant building demolished
A property in Homewood that recently changed hands, has been demolished.
The former home of Lovoy's, a family-owned Italian restaurant at 420 Green Springs Highway, has been torn down, reports the Homewood Star.
The restaurant had moved to that location in 1964 from downtown Birmingham. It went out of business in 2012.
