Two new residential developments in East Cobb County were approved to contain more than 100 townhomes in a rezoning hearing.

County commissioners approved a modified request from Ashton Atlanta LLC for 60 townhomes at the northeast corner of Windy Hill Road and Wildwood Parkway in the April 17 hearing, the Marietta Daily Journal reported. The developer originally sought 67 homes. The size of the townhomes along Windy Hill Road also was changed to 24 feet wide instead of a mix of 18 and 24 feet.…
