Happy Tuesday morning, Columbus.

Let's get down and literary.

I try to read every night before I fall asleep. After a day of writing and editing, it does my brain a world of good to absorb a bit of fiction and get lost in a world that does not revolve around datelines, headlines and bylines.

Depending on my level of tiredness, I might read 20 to 30 pages before I succumb to slumber. That's a good night.

On bad nights, I end up reading the same paragraph over and over again because I can't concentrate.…
