There is a video camera attached to a pier that pokes into the Atlantic Ocean at one of my favorite places on Earth – Emerald Isle, North Carolina.
The small island is about 630 miles from my house in Clintonville. It's a drive I've made again and again over the years. I went there with my wife and friends when we first got married 29 years ago. Jackie and I took our daughters there as infants and have returned with them as adults.
