Cell-cultured meat, cheese tea and other trends expected to hit restaurants in 2019


Who needs farm to table when you can have "seed to table?" Likewise, what use is farm-fresh meat when you can have plant-based or cell-cultured meat instead? And are you over the kombucha trend? Don't worry — soon you might find cheese tea has replaced it.

These are a few of the trends that San Francisco-based hospitality and restaurant consultant af&co. predicts are coming to restaurants and hotels in 2019.
