Charlotte developer pays $140K per acre for Chatham land for next phase of huge commercial project


A mega project on the Wake-Chatham border is moving forward after a land deal with an eye-catching price as the area continues to attract big investments. Work began this summer in Wake County on the 130-acre first phase of the project. And the Triangle market leader for the Charlotte developer says more land acquisitions are in the works for a project that could eventually total almost 400 acres.
