A new crop of towers is rising in Transbay, dramatically changing the San Francisco skyline.

Plans to transform Transbay stretch back a couple of decades. With the centerpiece transit center and rooftop park opening this weekend, the city’s residents can see and feel the progress.

“This is a neighborhood in transition, but it’s come along way since we started construction five years ago,” said Matt Lituchy, chief investment officer with Jay Paul Co., which completed 181 Fremont last year.…
