Churro concept to open at Tempe Marketplace


A churro-focused dessert concept plans to open at Tempe Marketplace early next year.

California-based Churroholic, which offers churro ice cream sandwiches as well as coffee, will open its first franchise in Arizona at the Tempe shopping center in early 2019.

The 1,010-square-foot space will be near the splash pad, Zero Degrees and Auntie Anne’s in the District shopping area at the mall on the corner of Rio Salado and McClintock drives.
