Construction workers’ rights violated by subcontractors at Tesla factory site, labor group alleges


Workers Defense Project — an Austin-based advocacy group for low-wage immigrant workers in the Texas construction industry — says workers reported that "numerous" subcontractors committed wage theft and violated Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations during construction of the massive electric vehicle plant.
