“Do you have any openings?” “Can I work here?”

Jim Damiani hears it all the time when he welcomes clients and guests to Newmark Knight Frank’s new office in Fifth Street Towers in downtown Minneapolis.

“We wanted to have a showpiece,” said Damiani, executive managing director. “We’re showing clients what we can do for them by living it.”

The commercial real estate advisory firm moved into its 6,100-square-foot space in May. It’s a far cry from the one-room executive suite…
