Daniel del Prado’s new Wayzata restaurant ready to open on Lake Minnetonka (gallery)


A new restaurant by chef Daniel del Prado is preparing to open this weekend on the shores of Lake Minnetonka in Wayzata.

Macanda is slated to open Saturday in the former Wayzata Brew Works space, within the Boatworks building next to 6Smith.

The food menu is structured around Mexican classics, like tacos, tostadas and sopes, and influenced by the flavors of other international cuisines. Longtime del Prado collaborator Steve McMullen is the restaurant's executive chef.
