DOJ seizes $5.5 million from Gate City Transportation, with funds to go back to defrauded Medicaid program


The Department of Justice recently seized $5.2 million from a Triad business convicted on one count of health care fraud in 2018.

U.S. Attorney Sandra Hairston announced Monday that the DOJ had obtained the funds through seizure and forfeiture of the assets of Gate City Transportation. a Greensboro medical transportation provider that pleaded guilty to defrauding Medicaid in October 2018.
