Downtown area population, number of residential units dip


Despite several new apartment projects being added in 2017, the population in the city’s basin neighborhoods dropped slightly after a decade of growth, according to Downtown Cincinnati Inc.’s annual report.

About 17,395 lived in the 45202 ZIP code, which includes the Central Business District, Over-the-Rhine, Pendleton and parts of Mt. Auburn and the East End, according to data that DCI pulled from CBRE.
