Downtown Hilton hotel opens skybridge to convention center


The skybridge connecting the Hilton Austin hotel to the Austin Convention Center opened Nov. 27.

The $7.5 million project had stirred up some controversy at the Planning Commission, where a member was concerned about separating "the haves and the have-nots."
