Elderwood expands Northeast holdings with acquisition in Vermont


With the addition of a nursing home in Vermont, Elderwood continues to expand inside and outside the region.

The Buffalo-based company in January completed the acquisition of Starr Farm Nursing Center in Burlington, a 150-bed facility that provides skilled nursing and short-term sub-acute rehabilitation services.

And last week, on March 28 Elderwood announced a six-site buy is in the works that will add Brookdale Senior Living (NYSE: BKD) locations in Williamsville as well as Rochester, Albany…
