Expansions coming at three rural health sites

Orleans County residents will get a new public health clinic in the new county office building.

The state Department of Health on April 11 approved plans to build a 1,500-square-foot clinic at the site in Albion on Route 31, just down the street from the current site.

The site will include exam rooms, a clinic and immunizations, the same activities at the existing site, said Paul Pettit, public health director for the Genesee & Orleans County Health Departments.
